
Procurement Specialist - Access (R1366)

Your Role
As a Procurement Specialist in Access, you will be part of a forward looking team changing how access-circuits are ordered, provisioned and assured globally. Working with partners, you will be driving our hyperconnected solutions enabling our customers to have a hyperlocal experiences.
Work Policy:
You will be working remotely with occasional travel to meet partners, colleagues and attend events.
What You Will Do:
You will be responsible for leading one or more stages during the offnet access delivery cycle, i.e. identifying partners, access feasibility, account settlement, supplier management, and service experience improvement. The objective is to ensure timely successful offnet quoting and delivery at optimal costs. This is a tactical role which contributes in defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on the business unit's overall results.
Responsibilities:
Identify national and regional access suppliers/partners and competition in the region to deliver last mile access.
Lead discussions and negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners on contractual capabilities.
Maintain strong relationship with access suppliers to improve efficiency and cost of delivery.
Look at avenues for increasing business with key access-suppliers/partners through new portfolios and new order types.
Work out new technology solutions with partners in conjunction with product teams.
Design effective and feasible offnet access solutions with consideration to route-maps, power diversity, path diversity, etc. to meet customer requirements.
Provide ad-hoc support to sales to negotiate with partners for any special pricing requests, non-standard requirements, delivery expedites, etc.
Finalising and renewing access suppliers'/partners' contracts for maintenance and installation of network components for optimal levels of operation.
Conduct monthly/quarterly reviews with key access suppliers/partners around overall performance experience on pre-sales feasibilities and cost effectiveness, delivery and assurance.
Lead cost optimisation initiatives.
Plan and provide inputs for jeopardy and risk management.
Who You Will Work With:
In this dynamic role, you will be exposed to every facet of H2NET network including the Legal team, Product teams, Commercial teams, Delivery team, Assurance team and Engineering. You will work with Access Suppliers/Partners to ensure we build and deliver the best possible solution for our customers.
Our Minimum Qualifications for this Role
5+ years in the global telecommunications industry in a similar role.
Technical knowledge in Ethernet, Direct Internet Access and MPLS.
Commercial know how with regards to business cases, minimum commits and SLAs.
Regional knowledge of the access supply chain market.
An understanding of the supply chain process in the context of quote-to-cash, pricing, SLA, legal terms and commercials.
